My Reactive Outdoor tent and I had the best adventure recently in the Kimberley Outback Western Australia. It was perfect for quick pack up, space saving and sleeping in a well ventilated tent. We shared the most incredible sunsets and sunrises. I have recommended this tent to lots of fellow campers.
I used this tent on a few recent weekend outings including trips to Llandovery in Wales and also on a longer ride to South Moravia in the Czech Republic and it was great. Really easy to put up, and take down. It was waterproof and despite a few people telling me it would leak - it didn’t. I would say that it would be extremely cosy for three people but two is ok for a short while. After use it folds away neatly into the provided bag and it’s both small enough and light enough to carry on my Harley. Overall I’m very happy with my purchase.
The first time I used this tent it took longer than 3 seconds. However, this was expected. I'm getting on a bit and the body is slow with lots of creaks and groans. The tent performed extremely well. It was well ventilated and held up beautifully when hit by an unexpected and fierce storm with severe winds and significant rain. Overall, did the job nicely and definitely fit for purpose.
I got back in touch with an old friend of mine who is into hiking and all sorts of outdoors adventures. I had been wanting to get involved for a long time but as a true London city dude, I only had the will and was missing all the required equipment and especially a tent. The delivery was quick enough and the 'how to use' illustrations on the outer box gave me hope that this tent would be a piece of cake to set up as advertised. Boom! It could not have been be easier, one attempt in my living room and I clocked 10 secs. The second attempts displayed a solid 7 secs. This tent setup is truly amazing and will not disappoint you. Disassembling it is a tinier more difficult but does not alter the overall satisfaction I got from this amazing piece of kit. Then came the real attempt, out there after having walked 10 miles in the mountains. Very keen to take my boots and lay down vertically asap, I was hoping this would happen as fast as it takes to say it - like that time in my living room. Boom! In a few dozens of secs I was resting. The best bit - my experienced hiker friend was totally amazed at how easy and fast this tent was to set up. His took literally ages, so much so that I managed to squeeze a short nap before it was done with his so-called pro tent. I think he will buy a Reactive Outdoor tent soon. To sum up - stay away from tents which require you to assemble or fiddling with poles - its 2023 and Reactive Outdoor is here. Buy their tent instead. Thank you Reactive Outdoor team! 👍
Just traveled from Perth WA to Brisbane QLD and returned done 10,500kms in 8 weeks slept in the tent for approx 6 weeks around 37 nights as we free camp the whole way only spent 3 nights in accommodation due to very heavy rain forecasted over 20 mills but while on the road the tent never let us down it was great not having to think too much about putting up the tent after riding all day really couldn't faut it too much nothing broke and we did encounter rain but not heavy but not sure how it would go in strong winds or very bad weather but it was great for the trip and would use it again great value for money so many thanks as it was everything you advertised Cheers
This tent worked great on our cross-country road trip last summer. We tented at a KOA in Richmond Hill, Georgia, on our way down south. It was so quick to set up and take down and compact to travel with. Material quality is great, held up in the rain a few nights. Overall happy experience!
